SOFNEC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") licenses the right to use the Software Products provided along with this User License Agreement on specified equipment in accordance with the following terms and conditions, and the consent of the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "User") to the following terms and conditions is also required. The User shall be deemed to have consented to the following terms and conditions and to have entered into this Agreement when installing this software on the specified equipment or using the installed Software Products for the package version, or when clicking on the "Agree" button in the installation procedures for the download version. If you do not consent to this Agreement, please return these products (the Software Products, CD-ROM and other product media, printed materials, outer packaging, and all other items) to the Company within 10 days after receipt of the products. In the case of the download version, please delete the downloaded files from your computer.

Article 1. Definitions
"Software Products" means data processing programs (hereinafter referred to as the "Programs") implemented in Prolog, C, assembly language, or any other language included in the "AZ-Prolog" software package that is supplied by the Company to the User, and manuals and all other materials (hereinafter referred to as the "Related Materials") provided in relation to the use of the Programs.

Article 2. Term of Agreement
The effective term of this Agreement shall be from the date of receipt of the Software Products until termination in accordance with the following conditions:
(1) The Company may immediately cancel the User's right to use the Software Products if the User breaches any term or condition of this Agreement.
(2) The User may terminate the right of use under this Agreement at any time by submitting written notice to the Company one (1) month prior to the termination.

Article 3. Right of Use
The User may use the Programs on the specified equipment, or may store, transfer or display the Programs on/to devices related to the specified equipment. In addition, the User may use the Related Materials supplied in printed form in accordance with the purposes of this Agreement. The User may not assign, sub-license to a third party, or transfer the right of use under this Agreement.

Article 4. Ownership
All the originals of the Programs provided by the Company shall be the property of the Company.

Article 5. Restrictions on Reproduction
The User may not reproduce or print the Programs in whole or in part for purposes other than the User's own use, or may not reproduce the Related Materials in whole or in part.

Article 6. Modification or Adaptation of Programs
Except in the case of generating applications through normal use, the User may not create different programs by modifying the Programs in whole or in part and combining them with other Programs.

Article 7. Termination of Agreement
Within one (1) month of the date of termination of the right of use under this Agreement, the User shall destroy or return to the Company all original Programs received from the Company and any reproductions, and submit documentation to the Company certifying that this has been done.

Article 8. Warranties
The Company provides no warranties whatsoever concerning the fitness or usefulness of the Programs and Related Materials for a particular purpose.

Article 9. Liability and Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not bear any liability whatsoever for any damages incurred by the User, or any demands made against the User by third parties, arising from the exercising of the right of use licensed to the User under this Agreement. However, when the Company creates any revised Programs to correct any errors in the Programs within one (1) year after the sale of the Software Products provided by the Company, it shall supply the revised Programs or information about them to the User, and this shall be the sole responsibility of the Company.

Article 10. Personal Information
1. Collection and Management of Personal Information
The Company asks the User of these products to register the User's name, email address and other personal information. The User's personal information will not be disclosed to third parties as a general rule (except as required by law), and the Company takes the utmost care in its management of personal information. For details in relation to personal information, please refer to the Company's Personal Information Protection Policy available on its website at http://www.sofnec.co.jp/privacy.html .
2. Use of Personal Information
If the User registers personal information through user registration for these products, the Company deems it as the User's consent that the Company should deliver information about the products to the User by electronic mail. If you do not wish to receive such information, please contact the Company so that it may discontinue the delivery of such information.
